Everyone at Market Rasen Church of England Primary School warmly welcomes you to our website.
Our popular, inclusive Church School, caring for and educating over 300 children, is a very special place where everyone works towards our collective goal of "Learning Together for Life." We are very proud of our six Christian values, rooted in the Holy Bible, that are core to all we do. Everyone in our school community endeavours to follow these special values; being caring, being honest, commitment to achieve, respect, co-operation and fairness. We feel these values help bond our caring, happy community. These values also directly link to an important part of our Church School vision "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." (Proverbs 22:6)
We aim to ensure that all children who attend Market Rasen Church of England Primary School are guided, cared for and supported to reach their full potential socially, academically, spiritually and emotionally. We do this in close partnership with our community, parents, governors and the Church.
We endeavour to provide children with an inspirational curriculum that gives children the opportunity to shine whatever their individual gifts or talents. We want our children to be able to achieve their dreams & goals and ultimately become good citizens in todays diverse society. . We have devised a curriculum that we feel best meets the needs of the children in our context. Information on our curriculum can be found in the curriculum section of this website.

In January 2013, Market Rasen Church of England Primary School entered into a Federation (The North Wolds Federation) with Nettleton Community Primary School to enhance the learning of children in both schools. This has proved to be very successful and beneficial for both children and staff at both sites.
